Town to Begin Flushing Hydrants

The Town of Greenport will be flushing hydrants Sunday-Friday, beginning Sunday, September 25, 2022 through Friday, October 14, 2022 from 9 pm-5 am (evening hours).  Beginning Monday, October 17, 2022, flushing will occur Monday through Friday from 6 am-2:30 pm (daytime hours) and continue until completed. Residents may temporarily experience discolored water, in which case it is suggested that you run your outside spigot or your inside cold water faucet to clear your service line.
