Full Job Description
The Town of Greenport is looking for part time Maintenance Workers at the Greenport Town Park. Applicants will be responsible for custodial duties, baseball and soccer field maintenance and special events. Must be available for evening and weekend work. Typically 10-20 hours per week, March 15th - November 1st. Applications are available at the Greenport Town Hall from 9 am – 3pm. Preference given to Greenport residents.
Pay: $13.20 per hour
Schedule:

• Day and evening shifts
• Sunday – Saturday. Depending on events at the park.
• Weekend availability

COVID-19 considerations: The Town of Greenport complies with any New York State mandates related to protecting against the spread of Covid-19.
Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred). Must be 18 years old at time of hiring.

License/Certification:

• Driver's License

          Town of Greenport Town Hall at 600 Town Hall Drive has received a new shipment of  masks and Covid test kits.
Everyone is invited to come to the Town Clerk's office between the hours of 8:00 am and 3:00 pm Monday thru Friday and get them.  There is no charge.

        Do to a pending snow storm, a snow emergency has been declared for the Town of Greenport.    This will start on Thursday evening at 11:30 PM and end on Saturday at 12:00 PM noon.  This means that no vehicles are to be parked on any Town roads during those hours.  Vehicles will be towed at the owners expense.

The Town of Greenport will hold their monthly Town Board meeting on Wednesday, March 2, 2022 at 7:00 P.M. at the Greenport Town Hall, 600 Town Hall Drive, Hudson, New York preceded by a workshop meeting at 6:00 P.M.

         The Town of Greenport has Covid test kits available at the Greenport Town Hall.  If you need any, stop by the Town Clerk's office at 600 Town Hall Drive between the hours of 8:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M.

           Please be advised that there will be a snow emergency in effect in the Town of Greenport from 8:00 P.M. Thursday night until 8:00 A.M. Sunday morning.  This means that parking is not allowed on any streets or roads within the Town during that time frame.   Vehicles may be towed  at your own expense.
