On Thursday, 5/25/23, TruGreen will be treating various areas of the Town Park.  As such, the Park will be closed on this day and will reopen on Friday, 5/26/23.  Please plan accordingly.

HELP WANTED TOWN OF GREENPORT
 
The Town of Greenport Highway Department is seeking applicants for part-time Maintenance Workers for the Summer.   The salary is $18.00 per hour.  Benefits are not included.  Applicants must be at least 18 years of age or older.   The duties will include roadside cleanup and general maintenance around the Highway Garage.   The hours will be Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m..  Applications may be obtained at the Greenport Town Clerk’s office and returned to the Town Clerk’s office at 600 Town Hall Drive between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Monday thru Friday.

The Town of Greenport is seeking eligible applicants eager to work as Playground Counselors with children at the Greenport Town Park on Joslen Blvd.  Applicants must be 16 years of age  or older and committed to working for approximately  five  weeks during the Summer.    The program runs from July 6 to  August 11.
Hours of operation will vary from 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday thru Friday.  Letters of interest and/or resume` will be accepted at the Town Clerk’s office at 600 Town Hall drive, Hudson, New York 12534. Applications are available at the Town Clerk’s office.  Please apply by the close of business on Friday, May 19, 2023.

 
HELP WANTED TOWN OF GREENPORT
 
The Town of Greenport Water/Sewer Department is seeking applicants for part-time Maintenance Workers for the Summer.  The duties will include cutting the grass at the Greenport Town Hall, Police Station, Community Center, Wortman square, the Circle, The Stone House and all Town well sites.  They will also do general cleaning and maintenance around the Water and Wastewater Department buildings.
The salary is $18.00 per hour.  Benefits are not included.  Applicants must be at least 18 years of age or older.   Applications may be obtained at the Greenport Town Clerk’s office and returned to the Town Clerk’s office at 600 Town Hall Drive between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Monday thru Friday.  Starting time will be around  Monday, May 15, 2023 and ending around the end of August. 

              The Town of Greenport Highway Department will start sweeping the roads in the lower end of Town on Thursday 5/4/23 which includes Mt. Merino, Church Road and Fingar Road areas.  Some dust should be expected, so opening windows, and hanging clothes outside is not recommended.  The sweeping should last 2-3 days.
