The Town of Greenport will hold a Virtual only Town Board meeting Wednesday, October 6th at 7pm.
The town will present a tentative budget to the board at 5:30pm followed by our workshop meeting starting at 6pm.

         The Town of Greenport is soliciting letters of interest/resumes` from Town of Greenport residents to fill a vacancy on the Board of Assessment Review.
           The BAR's sole purpose is to guarantee taxpayers rights by hearing real property assessment grievances and arriving at fair and impartial determinations regarding those complaints.

        The Town of Greenport is accepting applications for the Part-time position of Secretary to the Planning Board.  The pay is $95.00 for one meeting per month, payable monthly and $15.00 per hour for Monday office hours, payable bi-weekly, without benefits.  Send letter of interest and resume` to Supervisor Kathleen Eldridge at 600 Town Hall Drive, Hudson, New York 12534 by Sept. 28, 2021.

The general municipal law, or a committee or subcommittee or other similar body of such entity, shall be authorized to meet and take such action authorized by law without permitting in public in person access to meetings and authorize such meetings to be held remotely by conference call or similar service, provided that the public has the ability to view or listen to such proceedings and that such meeting are recorded and later transcribed.  This act shall take effect immediately and shall expire and be deemed repealed January 15, 2022.
ALL TOWN BOARD MEETINGS WILL BE HELD VIRTUALLY VIA ZOOM OR TELEPHONE AND BE PUBLISHED ON THE TOWN WEB SITE AND IN THE PAPER.

The Town of Greenport will be shutting water off on Thursday, September 2, 2021, for customers located on Route 66 and Fish & Game Road.  Water may be off for 4 hours between the hours of 8:00 am-12:00 pm.
