Please be advised that the Boil Water Advisory put in place on Friday has been lifted. We have received the results of the water testing from the lab, and the water has been deemed safe for consumption.

There have been 2 major water main breaks: One is on Route 66 north of Dutch Village. The other is at the intersection of Fish & Game Road and Route 66. Repairs are currently underway; however, a BOIL WATER ADVISORY IS IN EFFECT until further notice for properties in this location. (This does not include Dutch Village itself.) The Boil Water Advisory will remain in effect until water samples are deemed safe through lab testing. We anticipate this could take 48 hours; however, another message will be sent should more information become available and when the Boil Water Advisory has been lifted. Thank you for your cooperation.
The Assessor's office will be closed Friday, May 24th and reopen on Wednesday, May 29th at 9:30am.
The Scale at the Greenport Transfer Station on Newman Road will be closed on Wednesday, May 15, from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. for NYS Recertification of the Scale.
