The Town of Greenport will be shutting water off on Wednesday, September 1, 2021, for customers located on Town Hall Drive and Healy Boulevard.  Water may be off for 4  hours between the hours of 9 am-1 pm.  If you have any questions or concerns, please call the Greenport Water Department at 828-3400.  Thank you.

The water project is ongoing.  Restoration of roadways, driveways and lawns will be initiated once all of the services and tie-ins to the existing infrastructure have been connected to the new infrastructure.  We are aware there has been some settling in areas that were backfilled, and that will be addressed once all services and tie-ins are completed.  The anticipated completion date for the project is December, 2021.  Thank you for your patience.

       The Town of Greenport is soliciting letters of interest/resumes from Town of Greenport residents to fill a vacancy on the Board of Assessment Review.
        The  BAR's sole purpose is to quarantee taxpayers rights by hearing real property assessment grievances and arriving at fair and impartial determinations regarding those complaints.

Do to the extreme hot weather recyclable pickup will begin early on Thursday, August 12, 2021.  Please have your recyclables out by 7:00 a.m..  There will be two trucks doing the run in order to accomplish  the pickup before the heat comes in for the safety of our employees.

The Town of Greenport is seeking applications for a full-time Maintenance Worker for the Water & Wastewater Department.  Candidate must be willing to do general repairs/maintenance at Town buildings and facilities, office/building cleaning of Town buildings and facilities, and lawn and landscape maintenance at Town properties.  All interested parties should obtain and return applications to the Greenport Town Clerk, 600 Town Hall Drive, Hudson, NY, no later than August 27, 2021.  The current rate of pay is $18.07/hour.  Any questions, please call (518)828-3400.
