Town Board Meeting/Public Hearing

           The Town of Greenport shall hold a Public Hearing on Wednesday, Sept. 7, 2022 at 5:45 at the Town Hall on 600 Town Hall drive, Hudson to give residents a chance to express their feeling for or against Local Law #4 of 2022 regarding Videoconferencing at Town Board and Planning Board Meeting.  The NYS open meeting law has been amended for the expanded use of videoconferencing thrugh June 30 of 2024. It is in the best interest of the Town to allow for expanded use of videoconferencing, under extraordinary circumstances, to conduct open meetings.
              Th eWorkshop Meeting  will be at  5:00 p.m. and the regular meeting will be at 6:00 p.m.   The public is invited to attend in person or have the option to join us virutally at Meet.google.com/jdq-gomo-bzn or by phone (US) + 1 260-226-8963 (PIN-590544090)  Written comments may be submitted to the Town Board: Attn: Sharon Zempko, Town Clerk at the address above or via email to [email protected] no later thwm Wednesday, september 7, 2022 at 12:00 PM.
                 Some of the items we will be discussing are  increased mileage reimbursement , alloting the Highway Dept. money for repair and improvement to Town roads, hiring Steve Bowes to a position in the Water Department and Bradd Maloney as a full time Maintenance  Worker for the Town.   All these will be by Resolutions and voted upon by the Board.
