                Anthony Avenue Inflow and Infiltration Remediation

The Greenport Sewer District is proud to announce that the work associated with the Anthony Avenue Inflow and Infiltration remediation project will commence the week of January 14, 2013.  During this time the contractor, Arold Construction, will begin their initial work including cleaning debris from the system and televising the condition of the existing piping.  During this time they will also be acquiring data for ordering pipe lining materials.

It is anticipated that this initial work will conclude within two weeks, dependent upon the weather. 

Once this initial work is completed, the contractor will order materials for the installation of the pipe liner and then remobilize to complete the work.

Please be aware that during the actual pipe lining, sewer service on individual homes will be temporarily disrupted.  The contractor will provide notification to each property prior to an anticipated disruption.
