Town and County tax bills will be in the mail the first week in January. Payments  can be made by January 31, 2012 without penalty. After January 31, 2012 a 1% penalty will be added each month.

Taxes paid after February 29, 2012 will incur a 2% penalty; after March  31, 2012, the penalty will be an additional 3%, and after April 30, 2012 an addition 4%.

The last day that payments can be made to the Town Tax Collector is May 31, 2012.

After that date,  all payments must be made to the Columbia County Treasurer
